Last Week's Post...

In case you didn’t hear, Tea Kettle is in escrow. After a brief layover defeating the machines and spending money , on Friday we played board games, as Woodchuck was out of town. 
During our time spent playing Castle Panic we designed Forest Panic, which instead of being humans protecting the castle from forest monsters, would be played as elves driving monsters out of the forest to attack the castle. It’d be like Speed Chess.
Finally, Archangel got us playing Midevil, which was basically Evil Dead without chainsaws or shotguns. Maybe they’ll expand… Oh wait, they did. Midevil II and III are linked on BGG. This was a fun game, with plenty of twists and turns. Every player got a hand on the Necronomicon, although Rider came out with it. It was fun, and reminds me of good times with Frag.





So I picked up Grand Theft Horse last weekend, and much fun has been had to far. Taking captives alive seems near impossible, so I’m stuck just killing dudes constantly. It’s okay, though, because looting is fun. The mini-cowboys love the variety of animals there are to see in the game, especially the pigs. It has caused me troubles since every new kind of animal I see, I want to shoot it. LMT got real upset when a guy tried to steal my horse, and forbid me to get a new one. She’s so attached to it. What I’m attached to is the poker. I cleaned up and earned $100 my first game, and I’ve been losing my ass ever since. Cheating is only possible in one outfit, and I’m terrible at it.
