Friday night, since Dwarflord was working late, we watched Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Double & Decade: Movie War 2010 over at the Emperor’s.
It was amazing. Rider battles in Last Story kicked the whole thing off amazingly, and then the doubling back plot twists in Begins Night were great W-style fun. Nazca in action again was great, but the best part was:

I would totally watch a show featuring this guy only, but I’ll gladly wait for his next appearance. I wonder what the significance of W getting his Kamen Ride card will be?

Rogue Trader went pretty late, and much fun was had in wheeling and dealing our new-found treasures. Our secondary characters got some action, including a near catastrophic warp incident averted by my Navigator rolling an ‘01’ for victory in the last moment. I fell asleep during the pivotal ‘Dinner Party’, but I’ve been promised we’ll catch up next week.

Tea Kettle’s Hackmaster game was thrilling. We had some real tense action, and in the end I was reminded of how realistic the game is compared to other games, and the current D&D edition. We’re not certain when we’ll play again, especially me with my uncertain future, but it was definitely a thrill. We took on a team of kobolds and gained a painter slave. Kalamar seems like it’ll be interesting, and I can’t wait for Frandor’s Keep.

Having found somewhere to stay temporarily, I will hopefully be soon on the road to recovery. I am unsure as to LMT’s status, so I don’t know what the heck I’m going to do. I miss Awesome and Radical, too. This whole thing is killing me. I’m putting forth all my effort to remain positive in person, but I’m slowing dying here.
Sorry I missed out on Hackmaster. It sounds like it was a lot of fun. My character has purchased five talents, six skills, and a proficiency with a sling and still has 26 building points left over. I think I need to master something. Torture and botany would be fitting skills for my character. He is 234 years old, has two brothers and a twin sister, is resistant to charms, sleep, and illusions, is absent-minded, and allergic to shell fish. Fun times.
ReplyDeleteI am free every evening this week. We should hang out and play some board games or something. I know it's hard to stay positive in hard times, but I also know that it helps to surround yourself with positive people and positive things. Don't let yourself sit around with nothing to do and dwell on problems. If you are unoccupied, you should come over.
Hey Tele. Woke up this morning cause I was having conversations with you in my head and realized that I wasn't actually just talking to you. I wanted to know what your plans are for dinner cause I would like to do something with you and have a chat. Give me a call, I'm off at 5.
