Giving. Thanks.

Today I spent my own time solitary. The remainder of the time I spent at work. The Road Captain brought me a plate of Thanksgiving. I really appreciate you guys doing that. Ironic that for the year that I spent remembering how much I love my family that I spend today basically alone.

At work, I spent the day with some guys who spent today pondering what they are thankful for without the benefit of doing that with their families. Hard times. That's what we're there for, though. We're their {redacted} Family. It gives me a sense of accomplishment. I was able to be there for them when others cannot or will not.

I wrote poetry today for the first time in a long while. Someone out there knows why, but I'm just going to share that for some reason I always write in haiku. Tidbit to know about me, FYI.

I'm going to miss Woodchuck. Chickadee had better take care of him out there.

Ramblings on 11 22 11

I activated Facebook again today. I am unsure why. It may be temporary.

My rest of the week will be spent here in town while many of my friends and family travel. The weekend will be capped by the wedding of Tea Kettle and Sugar.

Traveller returned last night. He seems calmer than normal.

Kittens are so loud in bursts, then fall asleep.

Jazzhands is sick. I am feeling a fever coming for myself.

Searching this Silver lining, can't find the Grey.

Life has been pretty great lately. My job has been really fulfilling, and way better than anything else I've done. I am lucky to have it. I could be making a little more money, but can't we all?

This week has been busy. I worked Monday. When I came home, Woodchuck, Traveller, CutieKiwi and I played Catan. Lydia got in on the action.

I hung out with the Road Captain on Tuesday. We had breakfast together, disassembled the pushrods on the Buell, and then watched Doctor Who.

On Wednesday, I worked for a while, then got the kittens setup with a new litterbox.

That Mountain Dew box is a favorite cat toy, not trash.

Wed night/Thursday morning I was hit with a massive wave of insomnia compounded by a stuffy nose that kept me from breathing when I did fall asleep. I woke up Thursday just in time for my afternoon on-call. After that was done, I got myself a really cool watch off Craigslist for cheap.

Work is starting soon, so I'm going to put off more writing in order to get there on time. I will, however, leave you with one last thought:

Heard It Here?

Tele has been working, folks. That's right. If you'd like to know where, talk to me in person or call me. I'm really excited and this job is a perfect fit for me.

Traveller has been hanging out at the house a lot. I got the poor sod hooked on Sims Medieval. He's got us all running around as characters in his game. (Just like I do, technically)

The kittens are getting huge. They are still crazy and adorable as ever, but they just keep growing.

What I've been Watching: Burn Notice, Doctor Who, Entourage, Thundercats, Venture Brothers
Listening to: The Weeknd, Kings of Leon, Odd Future (WGKTA), Frank Ocean
Movies: Shark Night 3D (The rap after the credits is worth half the price. Otherwise a decent flick as long as you remember the summer thriller genre and pretend it is July.)
